Is there such a thing? When viewing threads with lots of posts I have to trawl through them all again til I come to most up to date, am I missing the button that says 'view first unread'?

I had been thinking the same thing so glad it is not just me.
Have to say that is a great feature on the Owners Club when re-visiting a thread (particularly the meet threads which can go on for several pages).
Is that something just missing from Proboard?

Never really got to grips with the Community site or the Jaguar and Renault forums I am also on. No need to get your coat mate, you're staying!! Derek

ProBoards are not as advanced as other forum providers but do not a bad job. From an admin point of view its really easy to maintain . They are releasing a new version later this year with additional buttons and fancy bits ;D I find, if a thread has say, 10 pages and you last visited page 5, the next time you return to the thread, you return to page 5 to continue reading.

But if you click on the little blue box with the word new written on it that tells you if new posts in a thread you go to the first unread post in a thread. Just checked it with the Gretna thread and took me to the last 2 posts which were new to me.

Looking at the homepage the site is divided into sections, the sections are divided into forums which in turn are divided into subjects - subjects being known as threads on other sites. On the left of the homepage there is a folder for each forum, the folder will either be closed or it will be open. If open the folder will display the word "New" to advise you that a new post has been made since your last visit to that forum. Go to a forum where a new post is so flagged and the word "New" in a little blue box will be displayed alongside any subject where a new post has been made since your last visit to that subject. That is my understanding but I could be wrong so hopefully someone might correct or confirm. Edit: Just noticed that a forum can be divided into Sub-boards too before you get to the subjects, as is the case with the Pictures of our events forum.
