You're a bad boy George. A bad, bad boy my face dont fit nomore anna , tell you what i wont slag the 75 club on here and never will , this group is here to stay . ;D I'm glad to hear that George. This group was set up to be an additional resource for Scottish owners (and our friends from other areas). I would be saddened if it became an area to complain about the club. In terms of your signature I think our mistake (and I mean as a group) is that we have described this new site in a manner that makes it sound like it is part of the OC. Whilst that wpuld be our ideal situation (like the JEC and MGOC affiliated forums) we did not approach the club before we started this. I think with the 2 other sites just starting (BBM's sales one and the new "Enthusiasts" site) the Club is perhaps a little piqued at the moment. I am not sure what the reaction would have been had we asked, however now we will never know. I (briefly) had an actual link in my signature although I did think it may not be allowed. I am therefore not surprised yours was removed George. Let's keep it how we intended, an additional local resource and continue to use the "National" club as well. Derek

Agree with Derek. It doesn´t do any good trying to right something that doeesn´t think it needs righting. If you get what I mean. Pity it isn´t abundatly clear that there are clubs that aren´t really clubs but ltd companys. Still if that is the way folk want it, or aren´t prticularly bothered, then so be it. Free country etc. I really like a lot of the members and the tech info is fantastic. I won´t be commenting on the -situation- again

At the end of the day folk will vote with their feet (or keyboards in this case). I'm finding less reasons to visit the OC now, it was really only to keep up with the Scottish contingent and now that this forum is up and running that kinda voids that! So here we are! xx

To be honest, I didn't think a Scottish forum would be taken kindly by the OC which is why I didn't go to and ask.
Re removing the link to the Scottish forum. Im hoping the OC are not displaying a dislike to the Scottish forum and I hope the signature was removed because it infringes an OC signature rule or similar. Perhaps a bit of clarity is needed on the exact reason given. Having said that, I do notice there are members in the OC who have links in their signatures to the two-sixies forum and alos Nano Meets website.
This Scottish forum is fully behind the OC, its not a breakaway group or against the OC in any way therefore I would be disappointed if any references to the Scottish forum is made in the OC forum then removed by them.
Regardless, we are what we are and we shall continue to move forward in Scotland.

I was told my sig promoted another site and was therefore removed , i was also told that my next infringement of any rules would result in further infraction ( and your time here will be over). There is a lot i could say about the way things have went for me in the club in the past few weeks but i wont do it down here . I will however tell the full story should i be banned . The pms i recieved yesterday from a particular mod were verging on vicious , i cant even strike back . Advantage is being taken . This GROUP we have here aint welcomed .

And as for having signatures removed because it links to another forum....... One rule for one, and one rule for another. Simples.

People take this internet foruming thing far too seriously I've had minor run ins with a couple of members recently one who accused me of extracting the wossname when i'd actually given genuine advice so I removed my advice & replaced it with an explanation & blocked the member so he cant bother me again ;D

I agree, most social internet sites can be a breeding ground for the written word to be taken the wrong way and it provides a faceless medium for online antics. I get a fair amount of referrals at work because of the above. Thats why we want this site to operate under the values of respect, dignity, common decency and civility (not an exhaustive list)
