I've been offered the father in laws Rover 75 CDTI for 1k. Generally good condition, engine pulls well although the clutch is a lot more stiff than I'm used to. I've been looking at the ZT's as well and wondered what the difference (other than body) are? I'm pulled toward the cdti because if the BMW input however heard the rest of the engine is ruined because of the other engine auxiliaries. I notice the CDTI are currently going for very little and wanted some reassurance that £1000 for a 2003 cdti model with 111K is a reasonable price, has 10 months mot and 2 months tax. Service history is sketchy however father has had little problems apart from alternator and tyres. Although the handbrake is being problematic as is the reversing lights. What do you guys reckon?
