Gonna fit artics modified handbrake compensator this weekend also gona try for the first time EVER to change some discs and pads on the rear.......

Let me know how you get on with the handbrake mod as I think I may be wanting to do that sometime soon...just wondereing how much upheaval it takes to do
I always park in gear as I don't trust the handbrake especially on these cars. I'm assuming the handbrake mechanism on the front and rear wheel drive cars is the same.

Fitted it yesterday Robert, Big difference, a very worthwhile mod, not too difficult, worst part is getting the carpet out the way.......

Did mine when I fitted new discs and pads a few months back. It makes a huge difference.
The worst part is doing the handbrake adjustment at the hubs. I nearly lost the will to live.

Oh these discs and pads are a pain in the ****! Cant get things off never mind new things on, gonna cry soon..... Car is sitting on axle stands for tonight........

Think I'm going to take the plunge and order up the handbrake mod.
Did you have to make any cuts to the carpets or did they just lift out

I didn't have to cut, just lifted them up and got the wife to hold them out the way. Was fiddly tho (But i have small hands).

I have a small wife , but long hands ...will this compensate??
Have been in contact with Arctic and am ordering up a compensator....no going back now...(and I hope that's what I'll be saying once I've fitted it!!!!)

haha am sure you will be fine Robert, if I can do it, then anyone can! WIsh i could say the same about the rear brakes.........
