Hopefully they won't give me food poisoning with the free lunch like they did at the BTCC event...helped my diet though ....lost half a stone in 4 days, and have only put 3 pounds back on since

I was marshalling at the Chicane........was one of the folk pushing the Ginetta G4, also shifting the Mallock and getting it on to the trailer..was a good post to be at for the event.
I'm going there tomorrow(7th October)for the last SMRC meeting of the year...don't know which post yet as they only tell you on the day...just hope the weather is OK....I would say look out for my blue SKCC skip cap but unfortunately it blew off my head on the M6 on Thursday when I was driving my new (new to me) sports car up from London...may have to resort to my less flattering beige one!!

Sorry for the gap in the reply ...just got back thgis morning (2.00am) from a week in Crete...wish Id stayed...sunshine all week and temperatures of 25 - 30degC.
I bought a Dax Rush (1994) kit car ...very low 2 seat 2.1 Pinto engine (Vulcan tuned apparently) with twin Weber 45 Carbs. Will stick a picture on the site as soon as it stops raining enough to push it out the garage and take the picture !!Technically I could bring it to the meetings as it is painted in Rover Nightfire Red !!
