This fourm seems to have died a death already, did i miss something? I have tried posting lots to encourage a bit more discussion but it seems to be very few of us posting on here, back to the OC for us, or has everybody joined somewhere else that i dont know about?

The forum is noticeably quiet I agree.
At the beginning I was deliberately feeding the forum with threads and posts (sometimes with rubbish stuff) just to keep it going and to get people joining in and getting the forum off the ground however the drawback is you see ‘Yella Fella’ everywhere giving the impression of having a comment or view on everything.
I have now deliberately taken a back seat and stopped creating threads or replying to posts in the hope others would create threads etc. I can’t make the forum successful all on my own and I’m not prepared to take the responsibility for making it successful as it takes input from others also, I see it as a shared responsibility and I would like to be in a position where I can say 'we' made it successful. Unfortunately, and what doesn’t help, is one or two events/meets being organised on the OC, without mentioning it on here. I support OC being used for this, but it would be nice for both forums to be used to maximise the event/meet whereby both the OC and our members benefit.
Creating the forum was always a bit risky. The possibility of it not being successful was always there. The forum will either die out naturally or slowly grow. Without me it will survive, without the members it wont.

Don't think I have to tell you my thoughts on the OC. Anyway must admit I'm spending more time on the enthusiasts site these days BUT there's not a big Scottish contingent so they're not hiding there! I'd be very sorry to see this forum die a death so I'll make a concerted effort to visit and post more often xx

Yes Glenn, i know the feeling I was beginning to feel like every section had me as the latest post....... maybe folks are just too busy for this many forums? Either way i will stick around and see what happens.

I don't know if it's just the time of year. Maybe now the holidays are over it'll perk up.
I haven't been on any of the forums much as I've had a really busy August with work (much needed after a quiet June and July) and only got back from 10 days in Corfu yesterday.
Work is stacked up again but I'll try and pop in more often.
Anyone know what's up next events wise?

I think it'll probably be the Xmas lights at Loch Lomond, hopefully we'll get better weather than last yer!
