Historically, Pub Meets have taken place in the East (South Queensferry) Do people thing there is scope for; 1. Separate East and West meets? 2. A central'ish location for joint meets? 3. Alternating location between East and West? We are open to suggestions. 75andztowners.proboards.com/ The 75 and ZT Owners Group Scotland

Personally i think alternating monthly meets is a good idea but would be interested to know others thoughts on it . We have driven through from GLASGOW for just over a year now to attend THE HAWES meet and we treat it as a wee night out but i can see that with fuel costs some folk might be put off so i think east then west would be a good comprimise. ;D

Its the red deer. Same owners as the place we were in last Friday.Just of the M80 at the A73. Once known as auchinkilns roundabout! I think previously the ospray in newton mearns was mentioned.

Hi Guys,
My issue has always been the timing of the meet and when I finish work in Ayrshire. Glasgow based would suit me much better but I would not want to discourage the ongoing Hawes meets.
The Osprey would certainly be great for me (2 mins drive or 20 minute walk).
Be interested to see how this develops.

Im cool for alternating it but pick a nice location in the west as the views at queensferry are pretty sweet. So a wee location hunt could be an idea

Where would suit most folks, how far west are we looking to go,largs, helensburugh, balloch or if thats too far how about the brewers fayer at linwood or hillington. I would prefare some half decent scenery to match the east tho

I also think east west east west ect. as to many meets would just cut down numbers as folk can only manage so many to fit in with other things in life

Im for alternating between east and west. How about Orions Way? I think its a Brewers Fayre or similar. Located next to the new M74 and London Road. Two mins from me ;D but thats not the reason, honest There is also a KFC and McDonalds there. goo.gl/maps/xL7A
